Government of Santa Catarina participates in an international mission
A delegation of around 50 Brazilians (mostly from Santa Catarina) started, last Monday (26), an international mission in Canada. Representing the State Government, the secretary of Foreign Affairs, Juliano Froehner, will have meetings with local authorities and business groups in the cities of Toronto, Kitchener and Waterloo, aiming at promoting the State, partnerships, internationalization and investments.
In his first international mission representing the government of Santa Catarina, Froehner will participate in Collision for two days, an important world technology event, which is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors this year. There will also be a diplomatic agenda to address the matter of maintaining green areas in Santa Catarina via carbon credits.
The secretary and the entourage will also participate in an immersion in the innovation ecosystem of the Toronto region, one of the main technological hubs in the world. The trip is organized by the Santa Catarina Technology Association (ACATE), by Sebrae/SC and by the Canadian consulate, with support from the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC).
